The Essential Guide to Disney's Yacht Club Resort

Disney's Yacht Club Resort is a hidden gem inside Walt Disney World! This resort is sometimes overlooked since it tends to cater to convention guests. However, you’ll want to experience the inviting elegance found at this charming New England inspired hotel.

The resort’s overall décor is nautical in nature, refined, and distinguished. Lobby is polished, nautical-themed with deep wood accents and antique boats to match. But, there’s no snooty atmosphere of Cast Members here! In fact, even your dogs can come along on this trip since this resort welcomes FIDO too.

Renovation and Refurbished

The Disney Yacht Club has 621 rooms that were recently refurbished, some with sweeping views of Crescent Lake. These fresh room updates include smart amenities, clean lines, and well-appointed furniture.

Not only have the rooms been renovated, but many of the restaurants inside the Yacht Club Resort have under gone renovations as well. There is the new state of the art Marketplace; to include a quick service food option and gift shop. Also, the brand new Ale and Compass restaurant and Lounge have quickly become guest favorites featuring high-end beers, liquors, and wine.  You can experience fine dining at the Yachtsman’s Steakhouse inside the resort which is known for one of the best places to enjoy a steak on the Walt Disney World property.

Kids will enjoy this resort too! The Yacht Club and Beach have a shared pool area. The pool is THE BEST  on the WDW property. With an arcade, waterslide, lazy river, pool-side beach, and even an old-fashioned ice cream shop (Beaches and Cream), this resort will keep kids entertained and happy all day long. Watercraft are also available to rent at the Bayside Marina. Plus, there are two Disney-themed miniature golf courses within walking distance for more family-time.

This location can't be beat with Boardwalk and Epcot just steps away and ferry boat service to the several theme parks. Disney's Yacht Club Resort combines elegance and sophistication with a Disney flare and is a resort you shouldn’t overlook.
