Disney After Hours Guide

Disney After Hours are private events that are offered on select dates at Magic Kingdom. Attendance to these events comes with an extra cost, but you will find they are worth the extra expense!

Disney After Hours is a separately-ticketed event (it is a separate purchase to enter the park, this is not included with regular park admission) that allows guests to enter Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom at 7 p.m. until midnight or 1 a.m. depending on event attending or date.

Disney After Hours

When entering Magic Kingdom, you’ll scan your MagicBand or ticket and receive your special “After Hours” wristband at that time. If you're in the parks already, you can go to stations to pick up your wristband and check-in. These event tickets are sold in a very limited amount. Most rides are walk-on and the park feels almost empty! On top of that, you can see characters (no meet and greets yet), special cavalcades, and you can enjoy treats, such as Mickey bars, popcorn and bottled beverages. Which are included in your admission and you will find them in various locations in the park. You even get to see Fireworks! Many guests are able to ride significantly more rides in the Magic Kingdom during an After Hours event than a full day in Magic Kingdom! The park capacity during these After Hours events is much smaller than a normal day at Magic Kingdom!

Disney After Hours Events currently on sale are:

  • After Hours Boo Bash Almost completely sold out! 1 date left for availability on 9/12/2021.

  • Very Merriest After Hours Tickets are available for purchase on select dates in November and December.
